4th EPRA Online Meeting Open event

When: January 16, 2015; 13:00-15:00 pm (central European time)
The 4th online meeting for EPRA members was again hosted by the Slovenian Institute for Vocational Education and Training. Participants came from Austria, Finland, Portugal, Slovenia and the United Kingdom.
Here is a summary of the most important points that were discussed during the meeting:
- Peer Training
- Small partnership projects in Erasmus+ need to be linked with mobility projects for the Peer Training
- The dates of future European Peer Review trainings will be aligned with future projects. Offering a European Peer Training should help to ensure the same understanding of Peer Review across countries
- Ideas for projects
- Pilot partnership project (AT)
- Guidance and/or VET project(s) (Portugal, Slovenia)
- The idea of a project on student-led Peer Review was suggested by Lianne Marriott from the North East Scotland College (UK)
- Peer Review in Youth (NL)
Next steps and outlook for 2015-16:
- Application for partnerships:
Individual institutions will sketch their project ideas and their needs for partners until Jan. 31, 2015. Project sketches should be sent to EPRA, if EPRA help is sought. - Next Peer Review Training will take place on October 13th-16th, 2015 in Vienna.
- A Train-the-trainer programme will be offered by EPRA in addition to Peer Training starting 2015/16. Prerequisite for participation will be prior attendance of a European Peer Training.
- Final conference Peer Review in RVC Oct. 23, 2015
The project Europeerguid RVC for using Peer Review for recognition and validation of non-formal and in-formal learning will have its final conference on the 23th of October, 2015 in Vienna.
3rd EPRA Online Meeting Open event

The 3rd EPRA online meeting was hosted by the Slovenian Institute for Vocational Education and Training. Participants came from Austria, France, Portugal and Slovenia; colleagues from Finland and the UK were excused. The participants covered the following areas: school education, VET and adult education.

- Finding partners was deemed the next important step. The EPRA network can be used to link people and institutions with each other read more
- All participants were motivated to go ahead. It was decided to organise a next meeting in order to follow-up on ideas and to turn them into concrete proposals.
- The next meeting will also give EPRA members and other interested colleagues who could not make it to the 3rd meeting the opportunity to join. The meeting will take place in the 3rd week of January.
